I have used henna for years to cover my gray hair and Avigal is the best brand I have found. I have never colored my hair with chemicals, only henna. I do not have a lot of gray hair so it comes out looking like highlights. It is a great conditioner for the hair also.

I've used Avigal for years. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair color wherever I go. I'm naturally a dark blonde with some gray. I've used several colors, but mostly Red, Auburn, or mixes. I started using Henna because I wanted red hair and chemical red dyes faded off my hair within a couple of weeks. And, of course, there was the damage to my fine hair from the chemicals. The Avigal might lighten up a little, but it is permanent, which is what I want. It does not damage your hair at all and actually seems to make it healthier. I follow the instructions included in the can and typically leave the henna in for 1 to 2 hours. Love it!

I have used this product before and was happy to find it on amazon since I can no longer purchase it in the city. I never used the natural before--it is o.k. I tried it this time just for a conditioning treatment, since henna is good for that. But I find that it is not as strong as the colored henna. The results are o.k. I will do it again in a few months and use the cognac color. Last time I did,my hair came out fabulous. I did like using this natural becuase it seems lighter, there is no staining to worry about, so I would use it again but I think the results are more daramatic with colored henna. the service, price etc. here at amazon is excellent.
