Not sure if this will work with my gray roots....

I used this color today even though it does clearly state on the label that it is not recommended for predominantly gray hair. So I can't find fault with this hair color for not covering gray roots after the initial bright color wears off. Here's what I have found so fair. The color is indeed vibrant and it looks very pretty on my hair that was previously colored reddish brown. At the roots, the color is intense red, but I will report back once it has faded some. The only other comments that I can provide is that this color creme is somewhat irritating to the scalp even after it's washed out. Also the creme is not dripless. I noticed that it does drip some, so plan accordingly. I found this color at Big Lots for $4 per box.
