Yep, just like the others that posted their reviews, I also tried this color. It wasn't purple at all. At first I thought it was my own hair color taking a different effect on the dye (I'm a brunette with no red), but now I see it's not just me. At least I'm glad to know I'm not crazy. Still pissed I wasted money, though. I had to buy a black dye to rid of the red since it disturbed me to see how bright it was.If you're expecting a black-violet color like I did, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

I love having that Dark-Purple-Shining-Through-Black effect and was SUPER excited when I saw this available at Walmart. I bought it and literally just dyed my hair about 30 minutes ago. I'm looking now at a slightly dark reddish-pink root tipped head. There is NO purple showing whatsoever. So, so disappointed...:(

I used this dye and kept it on for thirty minutes. It never turned dark at all so I let it stay on for a little while longer. Finally washed it out and my hair is left being this dingy copper like color. It's not a good color at all and there is nothing dark about it. Very disappointing! Such a waste of money!
