This stuff is like actual spray paint. It dries to a powdery chalk-like finish, and rubs off on everthing it touches clothing, skin, scalp ect. Throughout the day, I noticed it had smeared off on the skin just below my hair line, so it looked like I had just dyed my hair and forgot to clean up the run-off dye. Even though I only used a very minimal amount of the product, it left my hair feeling very dry and crunchy. Overall, there is really nothing good about this product.

first off, the bottle you get looks nothing like the one in the picture, second of all: DONT fall for this crap. It does not color your hair blonde all it does is put some gold glittery stuff in your hair that makes it look sparkly and oily and you have to use up half the bottle to get even a little bit of a lighter color to your hair. Also makes it feel sticky like hair spry. Not the look you want..unless your going to a Halloween party or something. I dont understand the positive reviews there was NOTHING good about this product and my hands are all gold and glittery now.....waist of money

A great glaze

I use this about twice a week and always before any occasion where I want my hair to look it's best. I am impressed with how shiny it leaves my hair. I didn't find anything special about the shampoo or conditioner in this line but I love the glaze. it leaves my hair very soft and shiny with a great scent but does not weigh it down. I find that you need to keep it on longer than they recommend on the bottle if you want best results.

Wonderful for fine blond hair

I have long, and I mean down to my butt long, straight, fine blond hair. I found this stuff and decided to try it out. I was hooked. I have a hard time finding hair products that don't weight my hair down, make it greasy or build up. This stuff doesn't do any of that. My hair is already very healthy and shiny, but this stuff makes it shinier and leaves it very sleek and smooth. It also helps cut down the frizzes from humidity and the static of winter weather. It tangles so much less and smells nice too. I use it every time I wash my hair and leave it in for as long as possible. It rinses out nicely and doesn't stain anything. I don't know what it's made out of, but the oils I use post shower soaks into my hair fine, so it's not sealing the strand to the point of suffocation. I can not say enough good stuff about this product.

I've been using this product for a few years. My method is not using it twice a week but only when my color is tired, at the 4-5 week time, then use it. It puts in shine and a touch of light enhancers to refresh your color. I love it because you can now wait another few weeks before having to color your hair.

I tried a lot of different hair bleaches but this one turned out to be the worst I ever tried!!! The hair turned orange-thats alright,but the damage to my hair was crazy!!!!! my hair never was in such terrible condition!!!nothing helps it now..I'll never ever buy this product again!

Did not work for me but here's why...

Okay, let's start off by saying I typically use GARNIER White Chocolate (Lightest ASH Blonde is what it is, I think? Can't remember the color #) and typically I am fine bleaching/coloring with the GARNIER White Chocolate on my roots in-between a salon color/bleach visit. It always gives me great cover until I get the professional job done every 3 months. I decided to try something NEW by using this L'Oreal Feria Extra Bleach Blonde 205 kit. Although this did NOT work for me and my hair color, I would never say it won't work for someone else. My hair is naturally a very dark brown and I'm getting silver/white hair coming through (thanks to my mom for her Mediterranean Heritage :) I use the White Chocolate to hold me over and it covers VERY WELL for someone who's hair is naturally as dark as mine. Feria Extra Blonde 205 did turn my hair a bit orange and I will call my stylist in the morning to shamefully admit I did this and express the "urgency" to get an appointment to "fix" what I did. The ORANGE looks like that of a goth preteen/teen trying to go from BLACK to BLONDE over night with a bad home dye job. Again, it didn't work for me, but that's not saying it won't work for someone else. P.S. I left the formula in for 27 mins because the "ORANGE" color on my head was freaking me out. Who knows, perhaps if I left it in longer I could have been a PLATINUM blonde! Just not for me, I am going back to my stand-by with Garnier White Chocolate.

I've used this monthly for a couple of years. I get platinum results just like the box. I am dark blonde naturally. Maybe the others who have had bad results have naturally dark hair, or had hair dye in their hair from before. People can't believe I get such blonde platinum results at home by myself, and I have this product to thank.

Red, Not Purple

Yep, just like the others that posted their reviews, I also tried this color. It wasn't purple at all. At first I thought it was my own hair color taking a different effect on the dye (I'm a brunette with no red), but now I see it's not just me. At least I'm glad to know I'm not crazy. Still pissed I wasted money, though. I had to buy a black dye to rid of the red since it disturbed me to see how bright it was.If you're expecting a black-violet color like I did, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

Wish I Read These Reviews Before I Bought It

I love having that Dark-Purple-Shining-Through-Black effect and was SUPER excited when I saw this available at Walmart. I bought it and literally just dyed my hair about 30 minutes ago. I'm looking now at a slightly dark reddish-pink root tipped head. There is NO purple showing whatsoever. So, so disappointed...:(

Don't buy unless you want a somewhat red but mostly just light brown color.

I used this dye and kept it on for thirty minutes. It never turned dark at all so I let it stay on for a little while longer. Finally washed it out and my hair is left being this dingy copper like color. It's not a good color at all and there is nothing dark about it. Very disappointing! Such a waste of money!

Too Red For Me ....but......

I asked my hair stylist if she thought the Auburn would look better on me than medium brown since that was the color I actually have her put on my hair. She agreed that it is what I should switch to since the medium brown was not looking perfect. I put it on my hair by itself and it looked like my scalp was sunburnt. I ended up mixing it with the medium brown to give me the perfect color combination.

Great for women with thinning hair

Got this because of hormonal hair thinning (Geez, weren't the hot flashes enough?) The first day I used it people at work kept complimenting my hair and asking if I had gotten it highlighted or styled it differently. They couldn't quite figure out why it looked better. I loved that because it meant the change was subtle but good. I've used it for months now and when I recommend it to others they say "But you don't have thin hair. " response..."See how well it works." I bought it for my single son in his 30's and before he goes out with friends he uses it and you can't see his bald spot and thinning hairline (gift from his Daddy, Thanks Dad). Definately get the applicator top and hairline tool with it. It really does help with applying it. You can also mix colors to find your right color. I use Auburn and Light Blonde to get my reddish blonde color.Because it's not an exact match it also gives my hair the appearance of highlights. I hope they never quit making this product. I also began taking GNC Women's Ultra Nourish-Hair and Toppik Hair Fattener (all available through Amazon) and find I'm using a little less Xfusion now.
