I've been dying my hair vibrant colors for over 15 years and have used all of the major brands- Manic Panic, Beyond the Zone, Special effects, etc and Punky Colour is my favorite. The hair color is very thick, meaning less splatter. This is a semi-permanent dye so make sure to protect your work surfaces and use a barrier cream or petroleum jelly around your hairline. Punky Colour's formula is quite concentrated, so a little goes a long way. For short hair, one container should provide 3-4 complete processes, if not more. For people with medium legnth hair, you should expect 2-3 processes. The process time is 30 minutes and the results are comparable to processing Manic Panic or BtZ color for 1-2 hours. Punky Colour Fire is a bright red with a hint of orange. To compare it to Manic Panic, the color is similar to Wildfire.

Blonde Brilliance is amazing. I've been a loyal fan for years, now, and it never disappoints. No matter what my base color, it always provides a pure highlight without being orange or brassy. As I red from others reviews decided to get for highlights. It did not fry my hair as other boxes or hair dyes does, but hair turned orange instead of blonde highlights. So, I had to get bleach which fried my hair totally. Would not buy again.

I Love this kit! I've tried a lot of highlighting kits and this is by far one of the best. I used this for highlighting my hair and the ombre effect. I Loved both! The color was prefect not brassy at all. It looks very natural. Great deal for the price. But it would be cheaper to just got to your local Sally's Beauty. The smells a bit harsh, but it's bleach so thats to be expected. Strongly recommend.

No more "brown-nosing"!

Brown-nosing comes from putting your sunglasses on the top of your head after you've used the waxy crayon type root cover up,then forgetting to wipe them off before you put them back on your nose. And yes, it is as embarrassing as it sounds.I'm prematurely gray and have had to use a waxy crayon product to cover my roots between professional haircolorings to avoid over coloring my hair. NO GRAY QUICK FIX is great because it's easy to use and stays ON the hair. It has a mascara-wand-type applicator that keeps the color on the hair instead of your scalp. (No more "erasing" crayon smears on your scalp with a q-tip.) And, this stuff actually DRIES completely on your hair so you're good to go until the next shampoo-yea! The wax crayon NEVER dried and even melted a little in heat-ugh! I've tried other root cover up products - sponge applicators, crayons, and marker-like products....this is BY FAR the best way to go!I've even been able to extend the time between professional hair coloring appointments so I'm saving money!

Covers OK but Stays Smudgy

This might be a solution for you if all you care about is visible coverage, but make sure you don't want to touch your hair during the day. You'll probably want to wash it off as soon as you come home, as it'll likely leave smudges anywhere you lay your head. It's basically like putting shoe polish on your hair. You'd probably be better off using waterproof mascara.

Gray Hair At Hairline

Within a couple of weeks of having my hair colored, I have gray hairs around my ears at the hair line. I bought a similar product from my hairdresser (of course, they have to make a profit), and really thought it helped. So when I saw No Gray Quick Fix online I thought I'd give it a try. Well, it works pretty well. It only lasts a day, but then I just do a quick touch up the next day. You have to learn how to do it, the first time I had it all over my ears!!! I read a review that said when you put it on the hair, you should use a hairdryer to dry it. That worked much better and now I've gotten the hang of it. It's a good product. I like it and when it runs out, I'll purchase another.
