Waste of $$$

I wanted something to temporarily color my hair--give it big, chunky blocks of color without damage or permanence. When I stumbled up on this I thought it could do what I wanted. Sounded easy enough to apply and washes out. Perfect. I was pretty disappointed though. My hair is dark brown, completely natural color & stick straight with strands of grey. I chose the red, as recommended (and because I wanted to be a temporary redhead!). First off...not worth the money. I took a chance on it despite it being more than I wanted to spend, but figured it was less than going to a salon for a dye job I didn't want every day. Second, application was a mess!!! The 'brush' and can combo is a pain. Seems like it would be easy to comb it on the areas you want to color as it dispenses like a typical can of mousse on to the attached brush. It was really hard to push the button to get anything to come out. Then when it finally did...there was a massive amount of product on the brush, which would fall in blobs all over the place. So, not only is it hard to control where in your hair it's going, it's also hard to control it from landing on the sink, the floor, your clothes, the rug....anywhere. I will say that it does wash out/off of thing easily, but in my opinion, it would work better as a normal can of mouse...and use your own comb to dispense it on. The color itself was ok...it did give my hair a reddish tint, and you get a more dramatic color if you use more product. But you also get really unnatural, crispy, crunchy, burnt looking hair if you use to much. It also flakes, like red drandruff, leaving little red stains all over the place. While the directions say to use on dry hair and use heat before applying product, I'm not certain how you would curl/style your hair then use the color. There's no way that could work. Maybe that's why it was crunchy? Because I was trying to curl my hair? No matter....it was a cumbersome process with little results.All in all, I was bummed out that this product ended up to be a waste of money.Guess I should just get a dye job if I really want to be a red head.

The girl who gave it a bad review needs to practice with it

After you get used to the applicator - IT'S AMAZING!! It looks just as good as my professional job and fills in perfectly between hair colors. I'm going to buy more colors to play with it!! I love it!!

Not what I thought

I liked it at first because it does show the red on your hair fairly well but I found that using it on straightened hair or curled hair gets it too damp and just ruins the style. Kinda defeats the purpose. Plus the nozzle jammed on me using it the 3rd time, not worth the money.
