Very nice

Very happy with this purchase. It should last me a while which is what i wanted versus buying the little boxes. The quality was good. I had been looking for a darker henna color. Because the fire red is not ver becoming to me. I read that Rajasthan henna is more of a burgendy or darker red. This is exactly what is looking for. Nice dark red and hair was noticabaly shiny and thicker.

I mix this one part Henna with 2 - 3 parts Indigo for a reddish dark brown color. I also dilute it a bit so I can use a squeeze bottle to apply. Much easier and neater to work with. My hair looks and feels great! And no chemicals.

I'm in my late 20s, with fine natural African 3b/3c hair and have a smattering of gray. I don't want to wreck my hair with dye but they are becoming noticeable. I Purchased the henna and the package came rather quickly. I used a recipe I found on the web as the base for mine. I used 150g of henna (about 2/3 cup) mixed with lemon juice, orange juice, red wine vinegar and water until it was a thick paste. I let this sit overnight (next time I may let it sit longer as i think the color wasn't quite developed). I applied the resulting goo to my hair and wrapped my hair in plastic wrap, put on a shower cap, and then topped it all off with a towel that I pinned up. I left it in for about 5 hours, then I rinsed and light shampooed and conditions my hair. I found that it completely covered my grays (turned them and auburn color) softened my curl pattern and made my hair very silky. It even freshened the color on my ends, which had previously been colored with chemical dye. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a little color/gray coverage.
