nice for beginners

I applied this to my daughter's hair. Her natural color is dark blonde to light brown. The Persian Light Brown gave her golden to strawberry blond highlights. It looked very nice, shiney and so soft. This is a nice product for those that don't want to chemically treat their hair.On the down side is application and mess. It is really messy and thick. You have to work to get it evenly throughout your hair. Tip: have a friend help you. It takes several minutes to get all of the organic matter out of your hair. I suggest using a nice conditioner to help move the product out of your hair.

Works very well!

My hair is pretty grey now but this works very well - I've used black tea and vinegar as they recommend and last time used coffee which seemed to tone down the reddish highlights.. I've also added turmeric about 2 tablespoons as that gives it gold tones and add a spoonful of honey and a tablespoon of olive oil. Make sure to protect your ears with those little ear hats if you can find them or some cotton as the henna does get everywhere especially as it starts to dry. Because of that I stand in the tub to apply it while looking in my adjacent medicine cabinet mirror (which conveniently swings over the tub- There are mirrors you can use in the shower)If you use a dryer it seems to take a little better but works either way. Wash and condition especially the ends afterwards.I don't need to use as much as they say and I have medium long thick hair- One jar will do about 4 treatments for me.P.S. I'm sensitive to regular hair color even the supposed natural ones but this doesn't affect me.FYI Don't mix it or use it over any bleach based/permanent coloring until that's all washed out as it will make your hair brittle.

Great price for product and shipping. The product arrived within the time which was within five days. Henna hair color is heavy like mudd when putting it on your hair. I put egg and coffee in the hair color and the color evened out my hair color and was pretty. I don't mind the earthy smell. Your hair needs extra conditioner after, but don't wash your hair every day, you want to keep your hair hydrated. It is a great product because there are no chemicals! I got to read reviews which helped a lot. I don't think it would work as well if I had gray hair. It would highlight, but not strongly color. I wish there were more pictures of peoples hair after using henna products. That would probably help a lot of people! I like not having to travel far to get natural hair products, it is better ordering on line!
