good cassia

This is my first try at using cassia for shine in between my Henna/Indigo treatments. It does make my hair shine, but not quite the difference I was expecting...but considering I use it two weeks after my Henna Indogo treatments, maybe my hair is as shiny as it is going to get. I will continue to use this for its conditioning qualities, because I am trying to grow my hair long. I will say that since I begain using Henna/Indigo and this cassie, my hair is in better condition than it has ever been. It has also started growing a lot more than it did before and I am really in love with my hair for the first time since grade school, Iam 44 years old now.

This is Cassia and nothing but Cassia, do not let the "neutral henna" label worry you. It's good quality, very finely ground, and an excellent price for this quantity.For those who want to use this to color gray or blond hair with a shade of gold, be aware that you need to mix it with hot water and let it set somewhere warm overnight to release the dye from the ground botanical. If you mix in a splash of lemon juice, too, that will release even more. Without that, the most you'll get is a bit of conditioning effect.

It smells like tea, but It works very well. I suggest blending with water, safflower oil and conditioner. I apply overnight
